Strengthening Representation

Recently, we've taken significant steps to amend our constitution. This allows for wider representation of community groups—from Punjabis to Bengalis, and Marathis to Kannadigas—on our executive committee. We value individual identities while promoting a collective voice on important issues affecting Indians in Manukau.

Grand Celebrations of Culture

One of our key initiatives is staging grand celebrations. Holi and Diwali festivities have brought together diverse communities. Noteworthy events include:

• Diwali celebrations at the Telstra-Pacific Centre.
• Exciting Dashera events with the burning of the effigy of RAVANA.

Such events not only celebrate our heritage but also invite participation from all cultures, promoting inclusivity in our celebrations.

Exciting news! IAMNZ is building a state-of-the-art Community Centre at 25 Tui Road, Manukau. This multi-million dollar facility will serve the needs of New Zealand’s diverse communities. It will be a hub for:
